1. An Introduction to Week 6: Truth
“Week 6 discovering personal truth – Our truth changes as we go through life, and so it is important from time to time to ask ourselves what is really true for us now as opposed to what might have been true before.” –Turn Stress Into Bliss pg 149
- 1 Minute Mindfulness (during moments of peak stress)
- Centering & Intention
Alternating days. Notice ‘What’s ‘True” as you move or sit: - Mindful Movement (password protected)
- Mindful Meditation (password protected) or Heart-To-Heart exercise
- Integration Process (to complete your daily practice or end a day or week)
-
Begin by writing, “What’s really TRUE for me RIGHT NOW is…..”, and then finish the sentence in as many different ways as you can in the next 10 minutes. No editing or censoring.
-
Be sure to distinguish your Truths from your Desires (Week 5: Discernment).
“Although your truth is not permanent, it is not superficial or transitory.”
-
Here are some examples of Soleil’s Truths to help get you going:

4. Challenges
- Continue the 20 second Awareness breaks & complete by asking yourself, “What is true for me now?”
- Self-Observation Exercise (Turn Stress Into Bliss pg 152)
Take 15 Minutes to make the following 2 lists:- Write down everything you can remember picking up to read in the last week, including magazines or journals you subscribe to.
- Write down all the places in which you have spent time during the last week & felt some degree of contentment or happiness.
Read over your lists. What do they tell you about what might be true for you?
